More About FSC

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international organization whose mission is to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC sets forth principles, criteria, and standards that span economic, social and environmental concerns for the preservation & sustainability of our natural wood resources. FSC-certification of a product ensures to the end-user, through independent third party audits, that paper comes from well-managed forests and is manufactured by companies that adhere to strict environmental and socioeconomic standards. Buying FSC-certified paper and carrying the FSC-certification logo on your printed product tells the world that you support the highest social and environmental standards in the market where you use paper.

FSC Chain-of-Custody certification is linked to forest management certification, and is a certified system to track wood coming from certified forests through the entire supply chain (i.e., harvesting, pulp, paper production, shipping, distribution, printing, to the end-user). Chain of custody allows us, collectively, to prove to the end user that we are providing products from companies that set high standards that ensure forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible, socially beneficial, and economically viable way.
